Default New oil pump?

hey guys, doing some maintenance on my girlfriends accord. (new timing belt, tensioner, etc..) well anyways, i took off the timing covers and noticed that the motor is caked with oil on that side, especially towards the bottom. i was going to go ahead and replace the camshaft gasket but was wondering since the car has upwards of 200,000 miles should i go ahead and replace the oil pump as well? or at least the gaskets associated with the oil pump? this is a 92 accord. thanks ahead of time.

check your balance shaft seal and install the retainer kit when doing your t-belt

also check your valve cover gasket and oil pan seals.

If you are talking about the rear balance shaft; Yes there is a little thin seal behind it that gets rock hard and lets oil leak.
This link shows it on a Prelude but the same basic block setup.

But be sure that the oil isn't coming out of the shaft seal behind the pulley though, if that is the point of leakage replacement is the only option.

hey guys, thanks for the help thus far.

one more question. if im not mistaken both the front and rear balance shaft pulleys are held on by 12mm (i think) bolts and to remove them just remove the bolt. however, how do i remove the toothed gear behind the crank pulley? is there also a bolt as well? im going to see if i can replace the front main seal as well. sorry im having to ask all these questions, just trying to get prepared before i attempt the job.

the crankshaft sproket should just slide off the end of the crankshaft, however they tend to get stuck and might require some prying to remove. i use two flathead screwdrivers and pry like that..

im actually replacing the timing belt on my mom's accord right now.

what im confused about is getting the timing belt on there right and keeping everything in time. if i have the mark on the crankshaft gear lined up with the mark on the oil pump does and the marks on the cam gears ligned up together does this mean the engine should be timed correctly? do i need to spin that dot until its on the compression stroke or does that dot mean you are on the correct stroke?

as well with the balancing belt, i line the marks the same with the balance shaft, but do i need to make sure to line up any marks on the rear oil pump gear (i believe thats a oil pump gear)

the rear pulley is for the rear balance shaft. there is an access hole on the back of the block which will allow you to lock the shaft in the correct position
