Default Noob Question: How To Turn Up BOOST

I know this is a noob question but how exactly do you turn up the boost on a turbo kit? Is it the wastegate because I see how some say they have a 6psi or 8psi spring in them or something. Also how do boost controllers work and is that all i need to turn up the boost? How does something you plug in make something build up more pressure?

Any help would be much apprecaited. Thanks - T85

P.S. - If anyone has a COMPLETE Turbo Kit for a D-Series engine then I would be interested in purchasing it if its going for less than $1,000.

1- internal gate - tighten actuator arm, or boost controller
2- external gate - boost controller

HAHAHAHA, did that before on a internally gated IHI RHB5. It helped me beat my friends B16 CRX with I/H/E that dynoed 143whp. I was boosting 12psi and it was holding but my clutch wasn't. Surprisingly only got a cell a few times, but then I put the vac line back on. Motor being replaced soon.

If you don't have any information pertaining to the topic and are just wanting to add another post to your score than I advise you to go somewhere else because everyone has had a noob question at least once. Who was born knowing everything there is to know about turbos or anything for that matter,NOONE and we all know not you because if so then you wouldn't have posted sumthing not pertaining to the topic at all, you know the crap we all hate when someone chimes in when they should be the LAST person talking.

I usually never say this but this is ridiculous..... You seriously think this hasnt been covered a ton of times or you couldn't just search on google? You could have found it faster than you could have made this post. Just use a little common sense.

Yager-
