Default check eng light b16a crx

hello i had my check engine light come on today and i checked the lights and there was 2 codes, a 1-o2 sensor and a code 3 map sensor. but when i start my car there is no check eng light but it blinks 3 times meaning map sensor what do u think abot this?i will check the 02 sensor on a lab scope tomorow and see if its good. i know the map sends pulse withs to the o2 to adjust the fuel so would that be throwing the 02 code? i have a 91 crx si w/ b16a in it w/ pr3 ecu

The ecu will save the reason for the check engine light. If its your map you can test it. Or if you prefer buy one. Don't know how much they go for but I gots one and Located in Temecula.

Now that's scanless.

you can clear the codes after replacing the sensor. remove the hazard fuse (10A I think) from the engine bay fuse box for 10 seconds.

i thought map was code 5? least thats what mine was when i did my swap.. i had vacume lines hooked up wrong.. oh wait.. i just remembered that 3 and 5 are map. well, you can replace it with another one, clear the ecu memory and see if you get that code.. i am getting code 4 and 21 right now. cps and vtec spool. i should have it fixed today..
