Guessing by the fact that he had his headwork done in Toronto, and is using Kilometers, I think it's safe to say he's in Canada.

Just drive it across the border and go register at the nearest dmv. Canadian and US share similar smog and crash test ratings. Should not be a problem. Actually where i live in New York, there are tons of cars still registered in canada, my next door neighbor has the acura that is eqivalent to the four door civic. It has the rsx front with the civic four door body and tail lights siiicckkkk.

Not quite... Canada has the 15 year rule (Which states that any foreign car, that is past the age of 15 years, is eligable for importation without legalization.), so they've been importing '89-'91 Skylines and other foreign cars for the past few years. Where as America has the 25 year rule, which is the same rule, just another 10 years added... Bastards. So it can't be that simple, because then I could just import an '89 Godzilla with JNS to Canada, fly up to my uncle's in Vermont, drive the car back over the border, and have nothing to worry about?
No, it's not that simple.

it's not that easy but it;s nto that hard. I have brought back a couple cars for a friend, and a couple over 15years old for me There is paper work but not bad. I have not gone canada to US. But if you read on the Customs site it tells you what needs to be done
