Has any one else had this problem? I have to roll foward sometimes to put the car in reverse. It has been that way since I bought it new. I have also had problems with the clutch fluid. I have to bleed it periodicaly. It keeps turning black and when it does my the shifting from 1-2nd gears is almost imposible. I will bleed the system and then it is okay for about 1500 miles. I think that maybe it is a combination with the clutch and the synchros. I took it to a dealer and they couldn't find any thing wrong with it. I had to bleed it the day I took it up there though or I wouldn't have made it. I am about a 100miles from the closest dealer. I have had problems more recently going to third at 8200 rpm and 5th at about the same. any help would be appericiated

 

I have the 3-4 and 4-5 prob at high RPM, and IMO its the Syncros

From what I keep reading in the forums the synchro is a weakness of the ITR. I've had my 3rd gear syncrho+gear assembly warranty-fixed by Honda.

Months down the line it's happening again, I sent my car in today, they couldn't fault the crunching from 2nd-3rd. It'll only start getting worse from there. I'm just hanging out for it to grind really bad then I'll see what they'll say next. Cheers!
