Default wheel weights

so im gonna paint my steelies pretty soon, but i have noticed that there are wheel weights. i dont want to paint over them because if they ever get removed there will be a spot that hasnt been painted. so 1 question is how do i remove them, and the second question i have is, when i go get new tires and what not can they put the weights on the inside of the wheel? thanks in advance

yes the weights can be put inside if you like.....to get them off we use a special weight puller at work...but if i remember right you can use a something with a pointed flat edge and a hammer and tap it in between the weight and wheel and it should come loose enough to take it off with a pair of pliers

they were easy to pop off with a screwdriver and a hammer. and i wont be putting them back on, i will have the tire place whoever they may be put them back on only on the inside, when i get new tires cuz mine are basically slicks
