Where can I order a vin number

Can i order a new vin tag for my car at acura, since i borke my old one in half while switching the dash?

But I'm 95% sure that vin's aren't remade...
+ I think swapping the vins like that=vin tampering= Federal offense

^ freal O.O what if u have just a new dash that had a VIN from the car it came from, a la pick n pull =P
