Default GSr Full into crx

When i did my swap the shift felt kind of spongy, and the throw was too long for my car and whenever i would shift into third, i would hit the plastic casing around my shift boot. I was told that i should have my linkage welded?? I was just going to add bushings to make the shifts tighter.

Info please?

when i cut the linkage for my b-swap, i left it too long, so the shifter sits too far forward like yours....

another 1/2" cut out would do the trick for me

but if your linkage isn't welded at all, i'd start there. some people say you can just shove bar stock in the hollow linkage holes, but i think it has to leave some play...
