.....I was wanting some detail of your setups. Images would be great. Actually, images would be spectacular.
I am considering the 84-87 versus the EF mainly due to poor availability of the EF in my area.

I want to see as many examples as possible. I loved your car, and by the way, tell me more about your motor. Damned good et's.
It's looking like i'm gonna be using one of these chassis, so I need some examples, etc.

Heres my 86 CRX all motor street car, the chassis is for sale. Had a 2 liter LSVTEC, 245whp and went a best of 11.80@116.

I'm starting to like these cars more and more.
Also, that's one heck of a good deal for that car. I expected to see absolutely no room in the engine bay, but to my surprise, there is more room than I thought. I noticed that you used the Place Racing engine mounts. I have heard that these mounts put the axles in a less desirable position which results in more chances of axle failure. Have you experienced such issues? Do you recommend the Hasport mounts?
Also, I have looked at many swap how-to's for this generation of civic/crx, but do you have any recommended swap how-to links?

thats my 85 Si one of these days it may run again.
if you can find a cheap rust free chassis i would say its great because its so light. the downside is you dont find many that are rust free and being that its such an old chassis parts are kind of limited. i love the car, its different and ive had it for almost 10 years now. but as far as building a race car it wouldnt be my first choice.-Roger

Now I just have to have one of these things. Alright, 86 Crx DX it is.
Now I need to find one to put my B18 into. I'm thinking nitrous at this point.
Trevtec702, if your car wasn't sooooo far away, I think I would buy it. Wait, I would get my money together, and I know I would buy it. Oh well, I guess that I could always just build my own. I want to go the carburetor/nitrous route.
P.S.- Street Battle outta be fun! We have a Street Battle I think twice a year here in Louisiana. Think about it, i'll be 300 to 400 pounds lighter than the average car at the event, and i'll maybe be making anywhere from 250 to 300 whp. Hmmmmm, that outta be interesting. I'm thinking mid to low 11's. I've just gotta be able to get a good 60 foot and mid-track et.

I see dozens of them in the wrecking yard, but the yard owners can't sell one to me. I just need a bare shell. These cars in the yard are complete except for various electronics and various engine related pieces, but I don't need anything that is already missing. Also, if I can't do it with carburetors, then i'm not doing it at all. Carburetors kick a$$.

is that a factory k20a?

My car is rust free, Nevada car. Selling my car for $1000 with everything but the Slicks and engine. You get the mounts, tranny, 2 sets of axles, shift linkage, harness, ECU.
Ive never had axle problems and the motor sits in there pretty nice.

i have seen one of these with a h22 in it as well. Real tight fit but it was in there. If you look on http://www.redpepperracing.com you might be able to find some suspension info there.

nice price!
I have an 87 HF with a B swap, but still a B16. I have managed a best of 13.0 with 1.8 60 foot. 12's next season. Then I will up the displacement. Mine is an ex-cali car and is still rust free as well. They are getting tough to find and parts aren't that common.
