Default Question swap or new car

I have a question to ask, i have a 1999 honda civic EX its got a few problems its got a fuel problem that just happend yesterday and needs a new clutch. I was wondering if it would be wise to either

A: sell the ***** and a get a 2002 SI or somthin
or
B: Get a swap to a b16a2 complete.

What would be more costly?

(other comments) I really want a b16a2 but its hard to find with out going over seas when your in CA and everyone has one.

For the swap i was lookin toward gettin one from Password JDM if anyones bought stuff from there let me kn0w how it turned out. Thanks again guys Happy New YEAR!!!

well ....buying a 02 SI would be more costly, if you plain on going with a b16 try hmototrsonline.com but fixing your car prolly won't be as much as you think what kinda fuel problem are you having?

well the new Civic is gonna be more costly but since you live in cali..you have to think about smog and swaps...since cali is strict on swapped cars and getting them to pass smog and whatever headache goes along with having a legally swapped car in cali...i'd go with just getting a newer civic. Only cause the b16 isnt really that much faster than the y8..and it doesnt really inpress me, but do what you want i guess.
