Default going turbo need alot of help

So i have decided to go LS turbo and need a lot of help. I am currently going to do this in my 96 hatch. I was looking into getting the swap this week but was wondering if I should get obd 1 or obd 2 if im going turbo cause I believe the ecu's can't be tuned for obd 2 yet or something. Also I am only planning on running the turbo on the stock LS because I have heard it holds up well with tuning. My next question is where can I get a turbo kit for a reasonable price these big companies like greddy charge almost 4 grand? Next question this tuning where is this done (in around NY area) and how much does it cost. Finally should i install the motor and turbo kit at the same time or motor first then kit. Please if you guys can help me that would be well appreciated my time is limited and I want to get this done by mid january before i go to school. Thank you for your time.

Here's step one on your journey:

Here's step two, three, four, etc:

BTW based on your apparent lack of knowledge, I believe your timetable to be impossible. Unless you mean January 2008, or are willing to dump $6k for a shop to do it all for you, and more $$ to push your build to the top of the list.

If its your only car, I'd suggest waiting till summer. Its better to drive a fairly nice civic, then to have the half-finished civic sit while you drive a Ford Festiva as a daily driver.

piece together your own turbo kit, you will be able to do it within reason and within a budget (if you have one)

best turbo kits out there are the ones pieced together for your specific application, but only you can do it and it will take some knowledge of what to get, what you need ect
