Hey can you help me Identify these wires? This is the main plug on the rear harness where it plugs into the front harness.

put 12v to them and see what turns on..

seems simple to me

 

why the hell did you depin them? i think solid green is ebrake light if you would have ask a year ago i could tell you. is that the one that goes into the fuse box or right above the fuse box? 88-89 right?

 

is 2 and 3 solid green?

I depined it for a good reason.

this is the one that is on the left fender wall? by the sun roof plug. it plugs into the main front harness.

this is from a 90-91. the Solid green isnt ebrake. Ebrake is on a different plug and is the same kind of wire as the door open warning light wire.

1. yellow/white
2. solid green
3. green/black
4. light green/black (it looks light blue to me?)

 

All I really want to know is what 1 and 2 is. these are the ones that got me stumped. I've look through 3 different wire diagrams for hours and I cant figure out what they are.

 

o i was thinking of a different plug. just look at all the plugs in the rear for those colors. did you put a different rear harness or somthing?

 

Get a plug off of a junkyard car with the wires attatched and just compare when you get home.

thanks but it wont work

i am taking 2 wire harness and making them one and on the old harness the plug is different than the new one and so are most of the wires.

 

the old plug is on the top and the new one is on the bottom. Its weird the old plug had more wires than that, I removed the ones that werent used. It had 16 wires coming from the old plug and only 8 are used. I dont know what the other wires are for and I really dont care
