none other than original Racing Harts





today they were painted in Matt Black, clear coated, polished and are now like this... and waiting to get on the car!

These are Sprint Harts not Racing Harts I just found a set today myself

how'd you polish paint? wouldn't it scrape off?

 

what color is the car that you are gonna put them on??

cuz imo black wheels arent the best looking on all cars...but to each his i own

so props to you for doing what you want

 

looks like you did a nice job

 

now just polish the **** out of the lips

 

eh, sorry but the black takes away from the style of that wheel. it would look much better "imo" in silver. or polished all over. even the red shows the core pattern better. the black just makes them look like steelies.. nice wheels tho

Sure hope you used VHT wheel paint....
Clear coat the faces and also take some old socks+ blue magic alloy polish and shine the hell outta the lips

I was tempted to spray a bit of Gunmetal on top of it, but I was just keen to get them done as I had a few interruptions through the day and they needed to be done asap.

 

 

needs more clear coat.

i didn't want them shiny tho - thats the thing. I was even going just to leave them Matt Black with no clear coat but in the end gave it a couple coats of Clear anyway just to save the paint. but good point - and taken on board.

 

what size are those? 15s?
