Rumors GT42R banned for 2007 and 2008 on SWFD?
I heard some rumors that the 42R will be banned for b series on sfwd for 07 and 08 is it true? I hope not because im planning on running this turbo.

why would they do that, k series is the only engine in the sfwd that is restricted.

Anthony they restricted turbo size to 66mm for K series MID SEASON 2006 and since nothing has changed man.

GT4202R is not legal for any SFWD. (74mm)
the GT4294R is fine except K. (70mm)
The max mm on b series to run is 72mm.

whats the point of banning that turbo for the K???

BTW, it looks like there was some confusion about K-Series being banned altogether. Obviously that is a crazy notion, and was misinformation. K-Series is a "swap" just like any B-Series... only limitation on it is displacement is max of 2.4L, and the 66mm turbo sizing.
