i changed my oil on my rsx-s and the oil light is on how can i take that off?

 

Is it a "change oil soon" light, or is it the oil pressure warning light?

Is there even a change oil soon on the RSX?

I know we have a Maintenance Required light, but that doesn't mean anything.

If your OIL light is on, you have problems...

 

i have a 05 base and not oil but maintance light will come on for service not CEL just maintance but nothing on oil but i know why s is way diferent

 

it tells you how to take it off in your owners manual

 

how about the engine check light? is it in there aswell?

 

I think a check engine light is a bad thing.
Oil light=oil is leaking and very little oil in the engine.
Maintenance reminder=reminds you to change oil and other things. I think every 7500 miles?
Check engine=your engine is gonna blow up. Run and take cover. To reset it, you use a scan tool. Stock in Kragen, pep boys, so and so.

 

turn off the car, hold your odometeor &lt;~sp button down for 20 seconds or so, continue holding your button down, turn on the key but don't crank, and the light should go away.
