car shaking
Recently my car started shaking pretty bad upon acceleration. Sometimes its worse than others (it gets bad sometimes) but damn near every time I will accelerate in 5th gear (happens in all gears except 1st and 2nd but its the worst in 5th) my front end would shake. Sounds and feels like a rim is bent badly or something then as soon as I let off the gas it would go away. Well recently the shaking has been getting much more violent and it happens alot more now and not just on accelration anymore. Now it will start shaking sometimes when I'm coasting and I can usually get it to stop by accelerating. Basically if it starts shaking while I'm giving it gas I'll let off and the shaking stops or if the shaking starts when I'm coasting I'll give it gas and it will stop. What do you guys think my problem is? I jacked the car up and checked out the suspension the best I could and the wheels dont have any play at all and everything looks normal. I drive this car close to 100 miles a day for school and dont have the money to take it to a mechanic so I need to fix this myself and do it as fast as possible. Where should I start??
