Is there a way to manualy roll up the window on a 98 civic ex. it has power windows and the window wont go up

 

force it up 1 person inside and other on outside....

--other then that not much i can think of

 

I never tried it so I'm talking on PURE speculation here.

Just take off the inside panel and see if you can crank the gear up manually.
EDIT:
For all intents and purposes that's the concept of manual windows...only thing is you'll be pulling against the motor..which shouldn't make a diff if it's not working to begin with.

Is the motor shot or the gear stripped?

so yah i had to buy whole new 300.00 motor for both sides...

You spent way too much.

 

honda dealer... i relized that....
but came with free warranty other didn't ...could'a saved 150.00 but rather take "oem" safe route
