first off, i'm absolutely disgusted with the seat mounts sparco produces. everything but the bucket itself is total ****. if you buy a sparco bucket, i recommend lining up a shop to fabricate mounts for you, do NOT buy what sparco sells. anyway, this is not the point of this post.

i need a suitable seat belt buckle to use with my new sparco seat. unfortunately the stock buckle is bolted to the stock chair; i removed it but it will not work with the sparco. i also thought i could use my stock rear seat buckle, but in honda's wisdom the front and rear seat buckles are not interchangeable. does anyone know what other cars (year & model) in the honda line will work with a 01 integra???

I agree that the Sparco seat mounts are not of very high quality (the seats are though).

Sparco also produce a bracket for the Integra that includes a welded lip with a threaded hole to allow the stock belt to be used. These cost $100 per side (the standard ones are $50 or so) and are custom-made so take about 4-6 weeks to be delivered.

 

anybody? will buckles from a prelude work? civic?

 

I have two of these units in my garage if anybody would like to buy them. The stock seat belt bolts right up.

ok, i think i've tracked it down. i need a front seat buckle from a 88-91 ef civic. basically a buckle that mates to the integra seat belt and has a long cord that bolts to the floor.

 

if your talking about the slider itself....it works fine and ligns up fine. just loosen all the bolts for adjustment....put all the bolts to mount to floor in and then tighten adjustments again.

a race seat isn't meant for stock buckles...but they do sell something pricey for convience. just 5 point it in a few weeks like you said you were gonna do
