my idle plays in 700-900 and it feels like the engine will die... then after a while it will go up to 1500 steady and back to 900 when warmed up, it only happens when the car sits for a while... pls help us out. will this cause big problem in the future?

i look and try to clean the IACV but found out that the 2 hoses that connected there has no hose.. i mean they only cover it ... so do i still need to clean it? and my FITV also has no hoses and also blocked... my engine is b16a2 converted to obd1.. skunk2 chipped p28 ecu and generic intake...

that skunk 2 chip could be to blame. that **** is crap. unless you can rule that out... was it idling ok b4?

change your oil

 

tighten throtle body cables...clean engine bay and see what's going on in that beezie...

clean filter(may cause bogging, look 4 leakage, or anythin unusual

is it stock? I/H/E? if you have a few bolt-ons and are close to stock, then get a p30 program. Stock. fuel and ign changes ( to the extent of name brands) will not help. very very small changes will. that's why, if you really care get it tuned.
another option is to find a *bin that you trust and get someone to burn it. a good place to start looking is pgmfi.org wiki. you should be able to find a good base map. if your lucky you might be able to find someone that has the same setup as you but tuned

yea.. i got intake and plan to put header and exhaust... after that ill try to use jdmp30 or rechipped my skunk2 p28... maybe the vision chipped.. and ill let jdmshit do the job.
