Default fuel pump 88 crx hf

i got this honda from someone who said it just died while driving. it has now sat a year but the pump will not kick on. the engine light also does not come on. someone said maybe a acg fuse, where is this fuse located. i put a new relay in it also so that is not it. any help would be awesome, thx

wow if it died on the person...sat for a yea, and now wont start....thats hard to diagnose...could be pump...bad gas...main relay...anything...its going to be hard...im like so-so on diag...so someone else should help you...bump

there is no fuel pressure at all the pump does not kick on when you turn the key on, so i thought maybe pump but sum1 sadi it could be a fuse

Hook up power straight to your fuel pump. If it turns on you know your fuel pump works. Then you have something to work off of.

Ummm , NO !!
I'd suggest starting at the pump and TEST for current and work your way forward.
If your not getting power at the pump then move down to the main relay and so on. Check the fusible link panel under hood on passenger side wheel well. Make sure none of those fuses are blown. If i remember correctly there listed on the lid to the box. I'd also search the archives for "fuel pump" ans see what the other fuse is called. I'll see what else I can find for you.

k thx, it acts like somthing electrical because the guy that drove it last said it jus all of a sudden quit. if it was the pump wouldnt it have spit and sputtered then died?thx a lot any info helps
