Ok...at first I was set on the Silver Finish, then considered the Gun Metal. When going to PhotoShop the wheels onto my S, I noticed the Bronze looked pretty good as it is. Keep in mind the Silver and Gun Metal are P-shop'd by me, and I am slightly colorblind but the point should get across. (Wheels came from this page: http://sportmaxwheel.com/sportmax_962.shtml

Cause you voted for the option I wasn't hoping for...lucky for me you are currently outnumbered.
Check is in the mail...let me know when you get it.

Ok...feel free to post a comment with your feel for why you chose the color that you did.
At first I chose Silver since it's a safe color that goes well with nearly any color car and looks great when clean.
Then I started second-guessing the Silver for the Gun Metal instead thinking that perhaps it would have a nice contrast with the other black accents on the car. Now I'm at the point that the Gun Metal color can sometimes look great, but also sometimes look as if you forgot to wash the wheels.
Now I'm leaning heavily towards the Bronze since it stands out strong and compliments the yellow of the car very well IMO. Some people at my work say it comes across looking like gold plating or something...but considering the source, they really don't have the aquired taste for...ummm...JDM? (not sure what name should be used for what I'm referring to. I'm used to European cars.)
Keep in mind that I am not considering much else in the way of cosmetics. I just got a front lip, and may do an AP2 rear bumper and hardtop sometime down the road. So, I'm thinking of having the wheels be the visual stand-out item on my s2000.
I thinking of something like this:

Thanks for the input!!

Not 100% certain. I was originally told by the people at http://www.sportmaxwheel.com that it would have a 35mm offset, but I could be mistaken. But on the http://www.buywheelstoday.com/products/?id=2853 site, they show them as being 40mm offset for a 17" x 7" wheel which I am thinking I may use on the front, and the 18" x 7.5" on the rears with a 38mm offset. If the offset is not big enough, and assuming that there is enough material left to get away with it, I was considering to machine the hub so the wheel doesn't sit out too far.

i wouldn't machine anything unless you really have to, then i would machine the wheel itself not the car
or just change rims lol

Agreed...I'd do a test fit first of course, then see how close things are. If anything gets machined, it would only be the wheel's hub, not the hub on the car!! LOL

Those offsets are a bit off, even for a 7.5 rear which I wouldn't run in the first place... therefore:

I'd run 7-7.5 up front, and 8-8.5 in the rear, with offsets +45 or higher, if you had that choice. I'd believe +45 is the highest common size any "universal" wheel manufacturer would make.

I'm not expecting to need the traction of a ultra-wide wheel, so I think I may end up machining the wheel to get the needed offset...then I could have something that other's don't, and isn't that what most are seeking when modding a vehicle?

That's the fun part. Running non-staggered is already askin for oversteer. My ideal sizes would be 255 front and 275 rear.
