okay I just got this EG for a real good deal...the guy i got it from put some body kit on it and painted the interior.... now I already replaced the body kit with OEM but the interior is like spray painted black (door panels and dash board) it is like peeling and looks nasty as ****. They also glued some type of neon blue pleather over the fabic on the door panels... I have been scouring the junkyards tryna to find new panels to replace but no luck... I CAN NOT DRIVE THE CAR LIKE THIS!!!!!! I need a quick DIY fix just to make it look ok..i started ripping the pleather up and there is glue **** on the fabric.. ima try and wash and wash and get it out but i really wanna get this paint fixed,.... I heard alot of good things about krylon fusion.. should I sand em down before I paint? What grit or grits paper?... I am thnking of wet sanding with maybe around 200 grit..then 300..the was with soap and water then wipe with alcohol... then painting... sound good????

For the time being I would just gut your interior and then from there proceed to remove the paint and stuff. You could probably try acetone to get rid of the glue or Goo Be Gone.
As far as for wet-sand I'd say around 1200-1400 grit(lower the # the rougher the grit) and then use a 50/50 alcohol/water mix to clean. After it drys then paint. Good Luck

Wow I assumed your mother died or your car was stolen, your sense of what is an urgent need desperately needs re-adjusting.

i concur.... if the dash was smoking and on fire and you couldn't drive the car... ok
but because its peeling its top priority?
A project car should take time... AND hopefully be done right.

try this out.
go to an automobile paint shop or any place that sells SEM brands (here in San Diego I go to Tri-City Paints). Look for "Bumper Stripper". It is in a spray can. Read the directions. I used it on painted plastics and it makes the paint bubble in 5 mins, then you wipe it off with a damp cloth. Dont leave it on too long or it may discolor. What you can do is after you remove all the peeling paint, just use SEM plastic/vinyl prep, and then SEM plastic or vinyl paint of your choice to re-paint any items.
Hope this helps.

coat your dash in some brake fluid, let it sit and it should remove the paint.
It might still look ugly underneath the paint
