hello everyone.
i know somone thats selling a 96-98 CF hood but he dont know if its for a coupe.hatch. or sedan.
and i cant test it on my car cause its not drveable at the moment.

how can identify for what trim is it?


please help me.... i dont want him to sell it to somone else

I do believe they're all the same, but I could be wrong.

 

if your cars not dirvable at the moment cant you do a test fit...just to see if it could fit lol...but the coupe and hatch hoods are the same as for the 4dr i think they might be different good luck tho

Is there any kind of stamp or nameplate on the underside of the hood?

 

i'm sorry but that first pic u posted makes me think it's a cheap hood. i've owned 3 different brands of CF hoods and haven't seen a mounting point like that. i dunno. it's hard to tell the brand by just looking at pictures. best of luck

i havnt seen it in person. but my friend said it has somekind of a bump\plate and it has the letter "A" printed in orange or somthing...

that what i thought.... the mounting point looks like crap....

So what year hood would you get if you have a 00 front on a 98 body? Are the mounting the same near the firewall? I assume 00
