Default D16Z6

Ok Ive been told that everything would fit but now someone told me that it wont so I want to get this straight I have a D15Z1 engine and Im going to be replacing it with a D16Z6 But the Z6 is not gonna come with the harness and the distributor so I was wondering would the dizzy and the harness from the D15 fit the D16 Without any problems????????? Need an answer asap!!!

yes, they both single v-tec and they will fit

The only part you will have to worry with is the wiring for the O2 sensor. The Z1 has a 5 wire O2 and the Z6 has a 4 wire.

That connector is the only thing that I can think of that will HAVE to be changed - your Z1 harness in that area will not plug up to the Z6's O2.

wondering if its better to hook up the 4 wire o2 to the harness in the engine bay or straight to the ecu. If somenody has done it can somebody show me what wires to hook up into the harness.

its personal preferance, i would rather do it at the harness, rather than mess with ecu pins, but thats just me.

ok from the harness where the o2 hooks onto. Can just use that old harnes from the 5 wire o2 and repin the 4 wire on the 5 wire harness
