Doh! too much oil?
I changed my oil yesterday in the R, trying out the new mobil supersyn,(no oil debates please
) and I managed to add 4.5qts, when it requires 4.2. Is that extra .3qt a problem?
I normally don't screw up like this, and i'm curious if anyone else has added too much like I did?
ps, should I also change my headlight fluid???
apex- who's no n00b but screws up from time to time.......

Check the dipstick. If your are within the lines, you're okay. If you're over, take it to the track and burn some up.
How's it look on the dipstick??

You should be fine.
PS - if you change the headlight fluid get the xenon HID look ones. It gives you 30% more output and a light that looks just like BMW and Lexus!

Thanks for all of the replies guys.
I checked the dipstick right after running it a minute, and it was about ¼" above the top hole. I'm going to check after work to see how it looks now.
B2, thanks but that Xenon fluid is damm hard to find, and at $30 a side, it ain't cheap!!!
