My buddies new toy in the driveway, '06 SI, next to my new project '96 DX.





And as I looked through my We Todd Did Racing account I thought I'd give you the history of all my civic.

First I got an '00 Civic DX as a wedding gift, thank you overly generous wife. Only 36,000 miles but an auto.


Then I bought a wrecked '00 SI for parts. Now my DX hatch has a b16 and every other SI part I could salvage


Then my father's got in on the game with his stock '03 SI


Then I bought a '96 DX hatchback with 320,000 miles. This one will get the 36,000 mile d16 engine from my '00 HB because it has a b16 now.


I've gotta say, the 99-00 HB are my favorite for looks. The '03 SI drives nicely, I defiantly like the k-series engine and the cable shifter linkage the looks are ok. The new '06 SI, drives like a dream, tonnes of power, but the looks, meh I'm not a fan. If my friend ever crashes his I will have to take his engine and put it into my '00 HB :D
