Search through threads in the all-motor forum. The engine you're dealing with doesn't have a lot of options for high-end NA induction parts because it makes no power and has very little potential to without significant modification.

You'd be better off getting an Si transmission. It'll make a difference you can feel at every RPM in every gear. ITBs on your motor will give you 8hp at 6600rpm at the expense of low-end torque everywhere else.

EDIT: To expand, unless you have a lot of CFM and RPM going through that dinky little head, you won't be able to make incredibly good use of them. You'd need a pretty radical porting job on the B7 head to start making it worthwhile.

 

Hmm. I've been told about the si tranny many times... i just can't make sense of it though....i mean, that's quite a bit of work...just for different gear ratios.....how much of a difference could it make? I had a 92 cx...and i KNOW how bad THOSE gear ratios were. just for referance....how much of a difference would the tranny make in 1/4 mile times?

As much as a full second, and it's cheap and easy in the realm of modifications. ITBs, on the other hand, won't do anything nearly that drastic for near the price. You can get an Si/EX tranny for $300 most places (or cheaper). Try doing a tuned ITB setup for that cheap

 

I used to swear by the D series... I still do for LOW budget power. If you want to make power out of a D series you need to focus on gearing, tuning. I have only seen 2-3 people with high hp ITB setups on D series and it was far from low budget. My advice, get the Si tranny, a lsd, Good header and exhaust system, along with good flowing intake and intake manifold and tune the **** out of it. or... Step up to the world of displacement. B20 from a CRV...

 

WOW the tranny would make THAT big of a difference??? O_O that's unbelieveable. maybe i'll do that then.... WOW....

and honestly in the future i'd like to opt for the h22a swap....
