Cheap springs are no good...

Spend the extra cash and have a better ride quality, you may also want some shocks.

And the drop is actually pretty nice, just have to drive a little carefully in some places so you don't bottom out or rip off your lip/exhaust/etc.

H&R Race Springs drop about the same 2.5"F/2.3"R, I have them on my car along with KYB AGX shocks and the drop is good and the ride is great which works for me since my Civic is my daily driver. You'll also want to pick up a camber kit for the front and rear and get an alignment after you lower your car so you don't eat up tires with bad camber/caster issues.

You can go coilovers and have adjustable ride height also, full or sleeve, but they also cost more.

My suspension setup is H&R Race Springs, KYB AGX's all around, Omnipower front/rear camber kit, and the car has a perfect alignment from a shop by me. Ride's great, cost me about $500 total with everything through using eBay for springs/shocks, bought the camber kit from a guy on a site I'm on and got the alignment for a good price through a friend.

Good luck with your suspension choices, just don't go cheap unless you get a good deal.

H&R, Tien, Eibach, there is quite a few choices in springs for your car. Same with shocks with Tokico's and KYB's and other performance ones.

Hey man. I've actually got my car sitting on a set of dropzone coilovers. They're manufactured by OZ Racing and actually my ride sits pretty good. It's a little raked but that's how I like it. I don't know how they're springs fair but the coilovers I got so far have held up great and I haven't had any problems with them. When I did my lowering I couldn't really afford to buy the expenzive springs so I went with the resonably priced "sleeved coilovers" and I think they're just fine. Hope this helps.

Well the company is based in Miami, but those springs have to be made in taiwan or something of that nature.
