help me identify an ecu.
as the topic states. i have a b16a1 jdm motor and i am not sure if i got the right ecu when i purchased the motor. if anyone has a pic of a b16a1 ecu or some sort of code i should look for to verify that would be great. thanks in advance.

Wrong, P28s are out of OBD1 USDM Civic Ex and Del Sols with D16Z6s. And some rare OBD2a Del Sols
The ECU you're looking for is a PR3
crappy pic but best I can do

cool, thanks for all the replies. but after reading what you guys posted i checked my ecu and the nunmbers on the white sticker are as follows: 37820-PM6-A080
620-215522
then a 9L in larger font in the bottom right corner of the sticker.
can anyone help me and tell me what ecu i have?
