Just like the title says, I'm installing my amp and I dont know where I can fit my wire from the battery to the amp. Its a 96 Integra GSR. Thanks guys!

 

by the battery theres a grommet that goes into the firewall/into the passenger compartment.. I wired my 4 guage wire through there...

 

Great! Thanks! One more thing... How in the HELL do you remove this deck?? Its killing me! I have it all hooked up sept for the 12v wire (doing now) and the GED or whatever it is (turns amp on and off when radio goes on and off, hooks to your power antenna part of deck.) Thanks again!

 

Don't hook it to your power antenna unless all you want is audio when listening to the FM.

go to installdr.com It will give you car specific instructions on how to remove a headunit

 

My antenna always stays up if the CD player is on or if the radio is on... So anyway, installdr.com doesn't have the year of car I need If someone could just tell me what the colors of the wires are I could get it! Thanks!

 

switched power (ignition) = yellow/red
continious power (constant) = white/blue
power (antenna) = yellow/green
illumination = red/black
ground = black

 

to solve the antenna up problem, i put a mini me toggle switch into the arm rest (on the upper corner side toward drivers seat. works great for me. antenna never up (i hardly listen to radio).
