Just pulled a healthy D16z6 100k miles out of my new H1 car. Selling the entire swap for $300. Complete motor, tranny, axels, intake manifold, engine harness. Just had the head off to replace the valves, (timing belt broke, bought the car that way) cylinders looked great, no signs of overheat or scoring. New valves and head gasket. Great swap for an H4 civic.

I've seen just the D16Z6 transmission go for $300 before...

FARG too late. I need a new motor and tranny as mine is about to kick the bucket.

 

Wish I knew you guys wanted Z6's so bad when I have a couple laying around. I do have 2 Si Z6 trannies available. One good, one has noisy bearings if you guys need something, lol! (lots of gears too!)
I've been building myself a short D tranny, and have lots of stuff left over. (ZC gears too, all but third!)

 

Dang. I'll have to remember this when I finally pull the Z6 out of my mint SI. It has just 106k miles on it and is MINT!

 

I have a 1993 Civic Si with 210k miles on it. Previous owner looks as if he did not take care of the car very well. Everything on it leaked: raditator, engine oil, tranny oil.

And maybe you guys would know. When I'm on the highway and try to accelerate in lets say 5th gear. I get a rattling sound like when the engine is under load. Tranny or engine?

If it makes ya feel any better, my first swap i bought, for 250. Complete, engine, tranny, axles, computer (p28), harness. It lasted the summer, and many 4th gear runouts, yes i was younger and much more stupid Now i go to the roadcourse for my fun. Now, my friend sold one later on for 600 bucks, so i guess it all depends on how greedy you want to be
