Default Need help Amp flashing from clip to protected mode

Was working fine untill yesterday! Have infinity amp powering 4 infinity speakers! Driving home and heard a bumping soud out of front left speaker, then all speakers stoped working! When to the back and the amp keeps flashing from clip to protected mode! Any ideas on what could be wrong? How to fix? Thanks

Check the speaker wiring. Probably came loose and is shorting out.

Ditto both the above, I would pull the front left speaker and check the wiring, also make sure speaker terminals are not making contact with the the doors metal skin, with some aftermarket speakers the terminals are located in such a manner that they will make contact, but work for a while, [because of the paint] then short out.
If the above is the case as soon as you pull the speaker, the amp will start working properly again, I would not use the system until problem is found, even with protection circuits, it is not good to short the output of an amp.
Also if the left has the problem it's a good bet you will have the same problem on the right at some point. 94
