i was wondering what type of exhausts are available for the 92-95 vx model civic hatchback. Since the cat is mounted on the the header. also i would like to know if my theory would work. if i buy a test pipe and use it to take the place of where the cat is on a ex/dx can i buy a aftermarket exhaust system and make it fit? thanks in advanced.

any d-series header should bolt up for your specific year civic. You could run a test pipe or a regular/direct fit EX/Si cat and then bolt up the exhaust; most HB exhausts come with a pipe for the front to extend it or not depending if you have the cat on the exhaust manifold or under the car after the collector like on most civic EX's or Si hatchs.
