Since bolt-ons don't add alot of power, what does? I know cams do, but what type of maintenance do they need? Does it take up alot of work/time? Also, do throttle bodies or final drive kits add alot of power? Do they require maintenance? Overall, what gives you significant power with little or none maintenance? Please let me know. Thanks.

 

The right header adds good power.

 

Bolt ons do provide power.

 

With increased power comes increased wear, which leads to increased maintenance.

 

depends by what you mean buy alot. if you have a good i/h/e setup, you should get some pretty decent gains.

A higher final drive will increase acceleration in all gears but will lower your top speed. It does not give you increased hp. All out cars have throttle bodies, and some people bore them out to a bigger diameter and thus increasing the airflow.
