does anyone know how to lift the back of your hood such as seen on turbo cars?

yes, use spacers in the hood brackets. It is pretty ugly though, I wouldn't suggest doing
it unless it is absolutely necessary. Not to mention you will get some unwanted attention. I have mine spaced about 1/4", looks pretty stock, not sure how much it helped with temps. You can also take the weather stripping out that goes between the gutter and the hood

You would think raised hoods would be on cars with ITB's not turbos. but yeah

Just slap a bunch of washers on there and get longer bolts. Ghetto but effective.

I'd only do it on a turbo or ITB car where the temps got a little higher than usual. Still, unlesss it calls for it... I don't know If I'd do it.
