b16a swap getting code 4 cps. please help..

Default b16a swap getting code 4 cps. please help..

car starts and runs, but it idles at 2k, and i get code 4 and 21. i redid the wiring from the vtec solenoid and i have the cps wires right or the car would not be able to start. i know this cause i switched them at the dizzy and it would crank but not start. any one have any ideas??>

i dont know off hand what codes those are but a high idle can be from an intake gasket leak or another form of vacuum leak. try spraying some brake clean around intake gasket and see if idle comes down.

well, the codes are listed in the OP. i think is the eacv not working. when i bought the crx that the swap came out of it ran fine with no CEL at all. so i know it must have something to do with the wiring.. that case, i guess i answered my own post.. sorry to post unncessarily on the forum.

well grab a manual and follow the tests for each code...we had a cps code in my gf lil bros 92 Teg, swapped in 3 different dizzys (2 wire for MSD ext coils and one Stock) ran new wires straight from the ECU to dizzy and then finally swapped in new ECU and that was it
