So my sister "backed" into my car this morning at 4:00 am lol
So far the estimates are in the $1100-$1300 range. My question is how fast were you going? Well it's a good thing it was my "winter" bumper, but my fender is f'ed too as well as my headlight and the metal bracket under it. Do you guys think this is a reasonable estimate?

I see now what car, pics weren't up yet, it doesn't look too bad to fix, estimate seems way too much. Go on ebay and get the parts.

 

Oh yeah and that bumper is certi-gay, so thats why it exploded I think. Well looks like it's time for some ctr headlights........... maybe a new lip too cause my mugen one got destroyed on my other bumper cover.

i got my bumper for $60 and its CAPA certified. Its gona cost me about 100 to 150 to paint it. I think that estimate is way to high.

 

I'm trying to stay with oem parts. Besides the bumper cover itself is only $160 brand new from honda.

Anybody know anygood alternatives to CTR headlights, I just looked at the brand new price, and I dont know If i could swallow $515 for headlights (they better be hid for that much change)

Maybe get some CTR "style" headlights until your sister moves out

not trying to expletive with u but, in the "pictures" it looks like u just need a new bumper, i cant even see a crack in those lights and or anything else. i do have some headlights im getting rid of though. they were from my 98 cx hatchy.(got some cheap egay angel eyes for chrit mas, u should just buy the angeleyes on egay, they are really sweet and cheap).

new bracket thingy

1200 from another reputable shop (no feathering)

1013 from shady shop with out new fender (they want too repair it)

I dont know bro. That estimate is way too high.

I would just call around to your local Honda/Acura Recycler or try Craigslist. and find a Matching Fender and front bumper to your car. Headlights look fine. that way you dont have to pay for painting or what not.

And thats your sister. so try to help her out by getting used parts but clean parts.
If that was my family member thatz what i would do.

Fender/Front bumper/Head lights would be no more than $300 used. or just find a complete 99 front end in red.

Your alternatives to CTR headlights are SIR headlights. You can get them new for around 280 and used for around 200. They look pretty much like the usdm headlinghts except that they dont have the reflecitive orange piece in the corner.

New fender? You've gotta be joking.

I say you get the bumper painted.
Go to your local dealership and order the bracket you need, or bend it back.
And buff out the surface scratches.

get a new bumper and paint it done!!! u dont NEED(something u must have) a new fender, or headlights or ur mirrors painted. either ur treating ur sis like a dick or she is one but u really are being quite girlish by saying i have a scratch on my headlight. come on dood, chill out, your making it worse than it really is.

im selling my headlights with a touch of condensation at the top lol

 

11-1300 Dollars hahahhahahhah I could find a front end on honda-tech for 350 in great condition and paint that or find it in roma red. Those are horrible prices.

Just get another bumper and that small scratch on your fender will buff right out. The bracket thingy can just be re-bent.

 

yeah man, i would say if you did the work your self minus painting you could do it yourself for about $500 maybe less. I have seen ctr replicas on ebay that some of my friends have gotten, and the quality is actually not bad. Sucks for your present, who's paying for the damage? Good Luck
