Alright so i have 99 accord and just finished reasembleing the guage cluster after taking it apart and inserting new light rings beind the guage needles. Part of the install required me to remove the needles. After placing the cluster back together and installing it in the car the needles wont work correctly. I have recalibrated the speedo needle by pacing my brothers car at 65MPH and inserting the needle there while in cruise controll, but now the Tach needle is still off. I start the car and let it idle with the needle out and then place it where it usually idles but when i rev the engine the needle will move to 3K and become partially stuck. After i shut off the engine off the need will only wall only wall down to about 1K and not all the way to the stop. Also the Gas needle has become non responsive and just droops strait down and the Temp needle does not move at all. Has anybody had any experience removing the guage needles? Can somebody help me?
