what size tires are you running on stocks
well i have a 92 civic vx hatch with ls mesh rims with 195/55/15 tires. i just dropped the car on eibach sportlines and koni reds. the drop is suppose to be just 1.8" or so, not much of a drop (so i thought). it dropped it more than i thought though.
well here's the thing, ever since i dropped the car, my front left tire rubs. the car hasnt even settled yet, which means it will probably rub more after it does. i tried the wheel/tire forum but didn't get much response. i got one response to try running 195/45/15s, but it doesnt seem that there aren't many choices in this size. so i was wondering what size tires people are running with their lowered cars with stock integra rims on a civic.
would i maybe go up to like a 205/XX/15?

Did you get an alignment? That sounds more like a suspension problem than a tire-on-fender issue. I've never rubbed with anything on a Sportline drop, btw.
And, if anything, go to a 195/50 R15. That'll shorten the sidewall another 5% on top and bottom which will give you a bit more freedom - if that's the problem.

I ran skunk2 lowering springs (2.25ish) with Toyo Proxes 205/50/15 on Si's and Falken Azenis 205/50/15 on Konig Heliums and they don't rub except sometimes around hard corners/parallel parking
I was going to wait till the car settled a little before getting the alignment. Didn't think that would've been the problem. But decided to do that right now since I have the lifetime alignment at firestone. Hopefully that works. These tires are still pretty much new.
But if I do end up having to get new tires, do you guys think the 205/50s or the 195/50 would be better?
Thanks

195/50-15 is the size that would most closely match the diameter of the original stock setup.

if you're already rubbing 195/55/15's 205/50's will rub more
but it's gotta be something with the suspension, because i'm dropped lower than 2 inches with 205/50's and I don't rub

Well got the alignment done. Looks like I hit something where it pushed back the left front lca. The left front wheel sits about a fingers length back, which is causing it to rub. Going to pick up a new front lca. Hope that's the only thing wrong, and there's no frame damage
I run 225/45-15 tires on +40mm 15x7" Rota wheels with no rubbing during normal driving or autocross use. Ocasionally I will hear a scrape during a U-turn at the steering lock.
I've previously run 205/50-15s on +45mm 15x6" Si wheels with no issues as well.
I have no alignment "correction," and my springs are probably double the rates of yours (which you didn't mention). And this is on an '88-91 car, which has smaller wheel wells than '92+ Civic.

That's probably the case, since only one wheel is rubbing. When you get the control arm on and go to have the car re-aligned, remember to ask for the alignment print-out for future reference.
Edit: Typographical error.

I have the same problem now with 205/50-15 and +38. I have omni sport coilovers and occasionally the front driver side will rub if I'm turning very tight turns at low speeds. I just need to adjust the coilover because I think the car sits a little bit lower on one side.
