PW0/PR3 Hondata info needed!!!
Here's the problem I'm about ready to purchase a stage 3 with datalogging for my car but....all the info that I can find on these 2 ecu's is that the Rev Limmit can oly be set to a maximum of 9000rpm.???!!! WTF I just need to to go to about 9200~9500 !!
Also I can't find anyone who wants to tune the PW0/PR3's
they all can do a great Job on the OBD1's but nothing for the OBD0
Any hrlp you guys might be able to shine my way would be of great help
Thanks

Hey Dave...I just called Hondata for you, but they're out of the office for the day. If someone doesn't answer your question by tomorrow morning, I'll call and speak with Doug for you.

Don't worry. I am sure that it can be set to what ever you want. Some guy on the website spins his drag car to 10,500 with a limiter at 11,000.

Only the P72 currently supports the extended tables to rev beyond 9000 RPM. I am not sure if that will change with ROM Editor v3 or not.

As I have said before, you should get an adapter harness and run a p28 ecu.
It is SOOOOOO much better than the PR3/PW0 ECUs

I have know problem running a adapter harness........But I don't want to run a P28 ecu...If I don't have to...
May be a JDM p30 or P61..?? Don't know
p28 works fine. sometimes better than p72/30
Hmmm Howmuch do they go for used in the US.??? might have to break down and get a adaptor harness
Cool Thanks

I just confirmed it with Doug at Hondat...9000rpm is the maximun rev limit that you can have while using a PW0 or a PR3...anything higher an you need to convert to OBDI...thanks for the help Doug.
Dave...looks like back to the drawing board again
, it just figures that it's something that we didn't think of

I will be converting from OBD0 to OBD1 as well just so that I can run the P28/P72. You'll need an obd1 dist, and injectors.
P28 is GSR ecu and P72 is the itr right???????
IIs that all you need? I want to run a B20vtec with B16a1 head, will obd1 still work for the B16a1 head?
