Default to buy or not to buy... need advice

hey

i know this is my first post, but i was woundering if i could get some peoples advice on something. i found a 1989 civic lx 5speed with 187k for 1300 in good condition with a really good interior, but i can probaly negotiate it down to maybe 800???. heres whats up, it may need a new timing belt, has a bad leak in the trunk, has several oil leaks (not severe though), might need a fuel pump relay???. but besides all that it runs and drives great and its actualy pretty quick considering its only a 1.5 litre (little tire squeel from 1st to 2nd) anyways i was just looking for some opinions so yeah....

You could get a good 88-91 for that price just look around and you can get a eg for around 1300 now so just look around dont jump on the first thing you see you will regreat it later.
