Default Brake lamp light keeps coming on

I just installed new tail light assemblies on my 6th gen Accord. The brake lamp light on the instrument panel came on. I changed out all the bulbs in the assemblies and now the light comes on and flickers for awhile and then shuts off. I haven't been able to figure out the problem. Eveything is plugged in. Is this a problem with the fuse or the electrical system?

Check your brake fluid level.

Hey man, thanks for that tip. I just went and checked, and my brake fluid level is low. Thanks again.

Glad I read this post. My brake light has been on for a week and I thought it was gonna be a bulb. But my pedal got a little mushy on the way home tonight.

Thanks guys.
