Rear disk not stock tach yes. came with a real low redline and a shift light, made for gas milage, not speed. Comes on at like 2300 or something lol.

Depedning on your overal plans for the car, rear dics may just be adding weight, they only do something like 30% of the stopping anyways...but the 88 have a rear steer or something so the rear suspension is a little different so if you upgrade to dics you can convert to the typical honda rear...the 91 cluster will fit all you need is the hood from a 90-91 the 88-89 has the short cluster..also just so you know the auto and manual clusters work too, I have an auto cluter with a tach in mine Not sure about the wiring but you might need to change a little to use the newer cluster but you can find that info on here easily

so i need to change to like 90 or 91 rear disk and all the normal suspension will fit??? and what about the hood??? so the cluster and the cluster housing will fit the dash of the 88???? i dont really care about weight of the rear disk either lol.. im putting a 200+ whp motor in it so a few pounds does not matter

Yea, I think the rear LCAs are different, but double check i haven't had personal experience with it, the rear shocks are different for 88 than the 89-91, I just assume its how they mount to the LCAs, should be able to correct since the LCAs for 89-91 drums and discs are the same and i believe 90-93 teg share the same LCAs...for the dics look for the 90-91 Si or EX or grab them from a 90-93 Teg, and yes the cluster and hood will fit the 88 dash..

What motr you planning on swapping in?

Are you sure 90-91 cluster will work? I have an 88 Si but had to convert all my wiring to 90-91 and i don't think my 88 cluster will work with 90-91 wiring

Yeah the shift light is just a little green arrow. Mine has worked for a while.
