Got a problem, my roof is leaking large amounts of water now that the rain season is here. I would prefer not to have to spend $1000 plus on a new soft or hardtop. What can I do to fix the situation until then? Any and all comments or suggestions are appreciated, thank you...

Driver and Passenger side, front corner where the top meets the car, and halfway between, right in the middle of the windowwhere theres a breakin the black rubber, both those spots on both sides of the car...

 

You might need new weatherstrips. Check with your local dealership they can tell exactly what you need.

 

Any ideas on how much for parts and labor? Ill probably end up doing that...

 

i have the exact same problem on my MY2000.

if i park with the front end higher than the rear it doesnt do it..but if i park flat or if the front end is lower than the rear it gives me a shower in the morning when i drive to work.

ive wanted to change my roof for a long time and get a glass one (i have the plastic right now) but after finding out how much it was, i just said screw it. haha..i just keep a towel in the car now haha.

guys on s2ki.com said to try out shin-etsu grease or whatever which you can pick up from a honda dealership...but i dont think grease will stop a leak, but again i havent tried it myself.

 

never underestimate the power of shin-etsu.
