Default Skunk2 coilovers

i need some feedback on these coilovers, as far as how the ride feels and whether its worth it for around 450 bucks, or should spend another 400 to get a better set up. ?

If you have stock shocks I wouldnt advise it. They are very stiff. And stiff springs with poor shocks translates into a bouncy ride eventually. however with good shocks they should have a very firm/harsh ride especially over a poor road.

I dont mean to sway you from them but, For the price you can get a better setup by going the route of upgrading shocks along with the springs. That said I havent heard anybody complain about the GrondControl/Koni combo.

skunk2 coils are stiff, most autox guys will go with the before mentioned gc/koni. what are your plans for the car, drag, autox, or looks?

I have skunk coils on stock shocks and its not bad but I do plan to buy some koni's, I'v found that the skunk/koni combo works well from past experince.

i'm going drag, and i want a nice drop, but taking least as possible away from the feel of the ride.

i have the skunk 2 pro series full coilovers on my 00 em1 and its stiff as a biatch! but i dont mind it either, i dropped my car about 3 inches and you can feel a bigg difference, i tend to get a better launch and way better control/cornering etc. with this setup they tend to ride smoother when its lower, idk thats how it is on my car
