I have a little problem... wheel locks?
I can't for the life of me, find my wheel lock key. I have a 95 VTEC that I believe came with the factory (or dealer?) installed wheel locks. How will I know without taking it to Honda and paying $40 just to have them look? Please help me.
The "Honda" wheel locks for factory wheels are made by McGard. There are only something like 8 different key patterns. If you go to pretty much any wheel and tire shop, they should be able to get them off without a problem. The McGard locks are commonly sold as OEM equipment, so most shops will either have a set of all the keys, or some attachment to get them off.

Yea I hope you solved thew problem already. If not all you really have to do is find a socket that will fit over the wheel lock. when you find one that fits pretty snug, give it a few wacks with a hammer. The wheel lock and the socket will be snuged together. Then you should be able to just screw it off. You might have to use a air tool to get it off, but it will come. Happend to me with me old rims.
Thank you both very much. I'm going to go and try prying them off myself and if not it's off to a wheel shop to hopefully have it done for less money. I hope there is a good amount of people that this happens to and I'm not the only goof....
