Hey guys! I was recently searching for parts for my F22A and I came across a block off plate for the EGR port. Has anyone ever heard of this and does anyone know if this is a good idea or if it would be benificial at all???? Thanks!!

well look at the therio of it and what the egr system does. It might give you a cleaner combustion, but would probably fail emisions. not to mention the o2 sens would induce a higher voltage, because they are adjusted for it to work, so you may end up running lean. overall though I cant say, but mostly emmisions related items do hold up hp.

i made one from a coke can. blocked it under the valve. i have no CEL and it blocks hot gases (unburnt) from recirc. into the intake. emission time i just need to unbolt 3 bolts and take it out but i have alot bigger things to worry about come emissions time...
