This is my first official Post and I want to say Hello. This is my first Honda and hope to keep it till the wheels come off. I live in San Diego and this will be my Daily Driver. I can't wait to make friends.

I picked this up from my Father inlaw's Yard. It was a very neglected 1991 CRX HF. It has 92500 miles and it is white with blue interior.I am sure that I will come up with new things as I enlighten myself with this FORUM. Let the JDM itch begin. Thanks in Advance for any advice and knowledge gained from this happy place I now call my Home Page.





PLANS.
Steam Clean the sh*! out of Engine Bay and Under Carriage.
Strip Interior / Install Sound Deadner where needed.
Replace Carpet, Seats, and Interior Parts with brand spanking used OEM Black one.

Restore Motor
Replace Body Panels and Repaint White.
Replace Blue interior with Black Interior.

As far as performance,

ENGINE & DRIVETRAIN
TOTAL REBUILD
New Engine Mounts
Headers, Cat, Exhaust
Cold Air Intake
Short Shift Kit
Upgrade Clutch

SUSPENSION
Tokico HP Shocks & Lowering Springs Suspension Kit
Complete "Energnergy Suspension Hyperflex Kit"

 

Looks like a great start, but do not restore that engine. Please swap, if you want to stay D Series at least put a D16A6 in that. Welcome to Honda-Tech, you'll learn a lot.

 

92000 miles thats good it looks to be in great shape good luck with your plans.

 

Looks like a clean start . +1, don't rebuild that motor (unless it already has a swap that you didn't mention).

As far as the suspension bushings, I'm going to go ahead and try and convince you to not run the Polyurethane Rear Trailing Arm bushings. Go ahead and get the Mugen bushings to replace yours (which are probably totally blown out at this point).

but yeah do a swap if you are going to sell your parts in the interior let me know i need some stuff ok take care

thats a pretty clean crx.. by the looks of it you might want to replace your back window tint...
and the money your gonna spend putting on those performance upgrades you should do a swap... Not sure how tight you are on money but.. atleast go with an A6the Si motor..your only gonna get so much out of an hf engine..you wont be satisfied....
