Default what size piping with my setup?

im going to get my piping soon and im wondering what would be best with my setup.. i have a jdm b16 with blox intake manifold itr headers and running open from the cat right now. it pulls harder than when i had my 2 1/4 piping but now im planning on getting 2.5 or 3" all the way back with a stock gsr muffler. i hear 3" is overkill for all motor setup but some say if your car is making good power with open head it may be a benefit also.. another question i had is if the stock muffler would rob some of my hp also.. any experiences or dyno proven results would greatly be appreciated.. thanks

i would say 2.5 for your setup.
i think 3 inch is for some real good NA power

i personaly plan to go only 2.5 on my b16. People will talk back pressure and what not. My theory is 2.5 is gona cost cheaper then 3.

yea the muffler i have right now is painted flat black.. hah but im wondering if i would loose any power bottlenecking my 2.5 piping to the 1.5"? muffler. the reason why i want to use a stock muffler is because im predicting my car would be kind of loud because im going to have it piped straight under the gastank and with no cat.. thanks

get a resonator and es oval muffler. what's the point of running without a cat. if you just gonna bottleneck with a restrictive stock muffler?
