Default door panel on '92 Civic Hatchback

How do i remove the window handles on my '92 Civic Hatchback. I'm trying to swap out my speakers and i need to take off the whole door panel to get to two of the screws. I've gotten everything off except the window handles which don't let me take the panel off. Please help.

they made special clip tools for this, but you can probably puch the C-clip off with a flat head screwdriver.

if u make a hook with a paperclip, it comes right out..like 305accord said, its between the handle and the door panel. u have to either pull or push on the handle to be able to see it..not too hard though.

after u locate it..it should be a gold clip..take your paperclip and hook it onto the gold clip and pull it, dont lose it...it might pop out and hide somewhere.

if that was too confusing, go with 305's idea. i've never tried that way, but it works for him.

u can by a window crank remover for 5 bucks... or use a hooked pick tool. i do it on a daily basis and the hook probably works best.
